Steps to Prevent Breast Cancer
Steps to Prevent Breast Cancer :
1. Maintain a healthy body weight (BMI less than 25) throughout your life. Weight gain in midlife, independent of BMI, has been shown to significantly increase breast cancer risk. Additionally, and elevated BMI has been conclusively shown to increase the risk of post-menopausal breast cancer.
2. Minimize or avoid alcohol. Alcohol use is the most well established dietary risk factor for breast cancer. The Harvard Nurses' Health study, along with several others, has shown consuming more than one alcoholic beverage a day can increase breast cancer risk by as much as 20-25 percent.
3. Consume as many fruits and vegetables as possible. Eat seven or more servings daily. The superstars for breast cancer protection include all cruciferous vegetables (broccoli, cabbage, brussels sprouts, cauliflower) ; dark leafy greens (collards, kale, spinach) ; carrots and tomatoes. The superstar fruits include citrus, berries and cherries. Note: it is best to eat cruciferous vegetables raw or lightly cooked, as some of the phytochemicals believed to offer protection against breast cancer are destroyed by heat.
4. Exercise regularly the rest of your life. Many studies have shown that regular exercise provides powerful protection against breast cancer. Aim for 30 minutes or more of moderate aerobic activity (brisk walking) five or more days a week. Consistency and duration, not intensity, are key!
5. Do your fats right! The type of fat in your diet can affect your breast cancer risk. Minimize consumption of omega-6 fats (sunflower, safflower, corn and cottonseed oils), saturated fats and trans fats. Maximize your intake of omega-3 fats, especially from oily fish (salmon, tuna, mackerel, sardines, lake trout and herring). Consume monounsaturated oils (canola, olive oil, nuts/seeds, avocados) as your primary fat source, as these foods have potential anticancer properties. Specifically, canola oil is a good source of omega-3 fats; extra virgin olive oil is a potent source of antioxidant polyphenols, including squalene; and nuts and seeds provide you with the cancer protective mineral, selenium.
6. Do your carbs right! Minimize consumption of the high glycemic index, "Great White Hazards" - white flour, white rice, white potatoes, sugar and products containing them. These foods trigger hormonal changes that promote cellular growth in breast tissue. Replace these "wrong" carbs with whole grains and beans/legumes. Beans/legumes because of their high fiber and lignan content are especially special.
7. Consume whole food soy products regularly, such as tofu, tempeh, edamame, roasted soy nuts, soy milk and miso. Only consume organic, non-GMO (genetically modified) soy. Epidemiologic studies have shown a positive association between soy consumption and reduced breast cancer risk.
8. Minimize exposure to pharmacologic estrogens and xeno-estrogens. Do not take prescription estrogens unless medically indicated. Lifetime exposure to estrogen plays a fundamental role in the development of breast cancer. Also avoid estrogen-like compounds found in environmental pollutants, such as pesticides and industrial chemicals. Buy organic produce if you can afford it; otherwise, thoroughly wash all non-organic produce. Minimize exposure to residual hormones found in non-organic dairy products, meat and poultry.
9. Take your supplements daily. A multivitamin, 500-1,000 mg of vitamin C in divided doses, 200-400 IUs of vitamin E as mixed tocopherols, and pharmaceutical grade fish oil. Also take 200 mcg of the mineral selenium or eat one to two Brazil nuts as an alternative. If you have a chronic medical condition or take prescription drugs, consult your physician first.
10. Maintain a positive mental outlook. Engage in self-nurturing behaviors regularly. Develop rich, warm and mutually beneficial relationships with family and friends. Get adequate sleep (7-8 hours per night). The mind-body associations with breast cancer are significant.

doubtless you all guess, why do you take "abbreviation word" in your blog? I'm upset because every one in the short message always reply my message with abbreviation word like "y" (in Indonesian) (y=oke). whereas I write long massage, it so annoy guy. and I feel confuse when I chat with "alay" people (exaggerate people). Because I don't understand about their. they always combine numbers with letters, for example :
niluh : don't forget bring management's book, because I want to copy this book, and I need to do my homework and tomorrow is deadline. and don't forget we meet in library at 3 PM. If you are busy you can contact me and I will decide when we are meet.
aji : y (oke)
niluh : hmm -___-
aji : 4much di mAnua? 4quwh di T4 ni
niluh : ??????
it so complicated, right? mainly about abbreviation words, like LOL (laughing Out Loud), ROFL (Rolling On the Floor, Laughing), LMAO (Laughing My As* Off LOL), BTW (By The Way), ASAP (As Soon As Possible), LMFAO (every day I'm shufle it..)
can you imagine when every body use abbreviation words in the daily activity?
niluh : d u k m b ? (do you know my bread?)
aji : n I d k (no, I don't know)
niluh : d u s m b , l a u m , g a f m (definite you steal my bread, look at your mouth, go away from me)
aji : g, I s, I s s s s s s s (guy, I'm sorry, I'm so so so so so so sorry )
It is veryyyyyyyyyyy complicated, so don't use abbreviation words again.

Computers are not distinctive in their capacity to lend themselves to this kind of service augmentation. It works with perhaps even greater force for the most mundane commodities. Take fertilizer. The International Minerals and Chemical Corporation sells a prosaic mix of fertilizer ingredients phosphate, super- phosphate, and potash very much more successfully than its competitors It does well not because its prices are lower, its delivery more reliable, or its salesman quicker at grabbing the luncheon check

Govt cuts tax obligations for oil and gas companies
In a bid to bolster oil production at a time of dwindling reserves, the government is trimming down the tax obligations of petroleum companies.
Oil and gas contractors would be exempt from import duties, value-added tax (PPN) and luxury-goods sales tax as of April this year under the new Finance Ministry’s regulation PMK 70/2013.
Upstream regulatory task force SKKMigas’ risk management and tax chief Bambang Yuwono said over the weekend that the new regulation would be applied to companies actively exploring new sites as well as contractors at the exploitation stage.
“The new regulation is expected to boost exploration activities and production,” he said in a statement.
Indonesia quit the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) in 2008 after aging oil fields and a lack of large, profitable reserves meant it was no longer a net importer.
In the first-three months of this year, the regulator claimed average daily oil output reached 830,900 barrels per day (bpd) — much less than the 1 million bpd produced in the early 2000s. In addition, investment for the sector remains low.
Of the US$26.2 billion investment expected this year, only $2.7 billion would come from a total 200 contractors for the exploration and drilling of 75 oil and gas wells.
Given this fact, SKKMigas secretary Gde Pradnyana said the government’s most recent move would be appreciated.
“The risk of failure in oil exploration is very high. Therefore, they [the investors] should not be burdened further with taxes,” he said.
Research by the Wood Mackenzie Group earlier this year showed that Malaysia had surpassed Indonesia in 2012 as the key player in the upstream hydrocarbon industry in Southeast Asia.
The Edinburgh-based global energy oil and gas research specialist noted that while Malaysia discovered 1.4 billion barrels of oil equivalent (boe) last year — or 72 percent of the total discoveries in the region — Indonesia only discovered 13 million boe of new reserves in 20 new oil and gas fields — a mere 14 percent.
This year, SKKMigas plans to drill 258 exploration wells, 1,178 development wells and 1,094 work-over wells in addition to a 18,751-kilometer 2-D seismic survey and a 22,298-square-kilometer 3-D seismic survey.
Last year, only 80 new wells were discovered, far below the annual target of 250. Only 51 turned out to be promising — continuing the trend of previous years.
In addition, SKKMigas proposed that the government lowered the average daily output target to 840,000 bpd from the previous target of 900,000 bpd under the 2013 state budget.
With the Cepu block in Central Java (operated by US-based ExxonMobil) projected to produce 165,000 bpd by October 2014, the effort to boost production to 1 million bpd is more realistic.
Separately, the Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) deputy chairman Sammy Hamzah said the association appreciated that the government had shown commitment to the oil exploration sector.
Sammy, also president director of coal bed methane (CBM) contractor PT Ephindo, said the previous tax obligations — on top of high costs and the risk of exploration activities — had further lowered investment.
